Delayed winter sickness

Wow! have I ever been under the weather lately. I managed to go all winter without feeling at all sick, and then WHAM! just as the warmer weather started moving in, I got strep throat. Got it about 2 weeks ago, and still feeling it a bit. It's honestly the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.

I had a pretty exciting weekend almost 3 weeks ago. A lovely boy came to visit me from England, and it was perfect to me.

So these are my reasons for the extreme lack of presence. However, I can assure you my vintage shopping obsession hasn't slowed down like my blogging. I've been bidding on quite a few vintage goodies.


I've won so far a pair of  1930s crochet gloves

A lot of vintage hair pins and clips

And my favourite, the item that completes my life is my 1950s cat eye glasses

And I'm bidding on various other things such as a playsuit, brogue heels and a swimsuit.


I will be in Toronto for most of next week vintage shopping and catching up with old friends. So I will most definitely bring my camera and show everyone the vintage life in Toronto. Should be a fun little post.

Another update, by Monday I should have blonde shoulder length hair. So I'm pretty excited about it!
